How to repair the fuse box contacts on a Sebring Limited convertible.

Asked by Mar 22, 2014 at 08:45 PM about the 2003 Chrysler Sebring Limited Convertible

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

On my 2003 Chrysler Limited Convertible I have a problem with the ignition fuse box located under the hood.  On fuse # 21 the contact on the fuse box is broken and has completely come off the fuse box.  It is lost and I do not know where that piece is.  What is the best way to repair this broken contact on the fuse box?

You need to loosen the box enough so you can the circuits underneath, then solder in an in-line fuse for that circuit, make sure you have enough wire so you can access it when you put the fuse box back into place.
