I Have A 2008 F-150 Supercrew And Have Towed A Horse Trailer Many Times And Never Had A Problem. Yesterday I Went To Back Up My Trailer And My Truck Wanted To Stall When In Reverse And I Had My Foot On The Brake.Trailer Plug For Brakes Was Plugged In. Please Help.
We never have problems with machines until we do- backing up- was the trailer straight? going uphill? are the trailer brakes locking up? Have you kept up on your engine maintenance and service? The F 150 seems a little light to be pulling horses- it will work, but wear out faster than something like an F 250 or bigger
I Have 5.4L V8 With tow Capacity If 9500 Lbs. I Was Backing It Into My driveway From The street, Which Is All flat. I Do Keep Up With Maintenance. I Was Towing A New Trailer This time, All Aluminum, 2 Horse.
your throttle body could be dirty also
