my 300M randomly overheats?

Asked by jami211067 Oct 11, 2016 at 12:01 AM about the 2003 Chrysler 300M Special FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have new fans, water pump, thermostat, and radiator. I flushed system, then bled it, then drove it for 3 hours, highway and city/ no problems. A/C was not on during the drive until I got home, turned on a/c 6 blocks from home and it started overheating within 3 minutes. lifted hood and one fan was spinning faster than the other/  could this have something to do with it?

yes. when at idle in driveway they both turn on when the temp gauge reaches the halfway point, and both turn off when its slightly below the halfway point about 2 minutes later. thankyou for any input you can give me, I am grateful for your time!
