i have a 1998 v.6 ford mustang engine an iwant to know if i can put it in my 2004 ford mustang body

Is your 2004 a V6 as well, your heading says you have a 2004 GT which is a V8. If you have a base model 2004, then I would say you can, but you don't want to get into a big mess with another sized engine, swapping out other parts.
