2001 Mustang GT
Any CEL's on the dashboard lighting up?
Nope, nothing. It starts up find runs fine. And it doesn't do it all the time. It's just at random, usually when I drive for a while. Kind of like a light jerking motion at 30-50.
Could it be the torque converter locking and unlocking its self? Any fluctuation in the RPM?
Actually I'm not sure on that, I'll find out tomorrow and let you know, I don't think there was but I'm not 100% sure.
Yeah, Keep us in the loop.
Sounds trans related. I assume you have an automatic, lock out the O/D and see if it goes away.
Could be your mass air flow sensor going bad
Chet0459 is on the money, before you replace the air flow sensor, take it out, and clean it with a can of cleaner, they make one just for those sensors, you can find the cleaner at any, auto part store. hope this helps
Thank you guys, I will definitely try this and let you guys know what happens!
