You will have to take it to the dealership (towed) or you will have to take the ignition cylinder out. I can't recall, but I did this for my 2000 jeep grand Cherokee, (I ordered a new cylinder first) and luckily since its a older vehilcle I just used the key that came with the new cylinder, popped it in the car, screwed it back in, and there she was ready to go. Obviously this is for a car that doesn't have a programmable key, however if you have a spare key and it's expensive to replace, and you don't want to order a new key, you'll have to go through the rekeying process and will need to keep the old mini "keys" that pop in out of each slot so you can utilize the same settings for the key recognition. There are youtube videos on replacing a ignition coil switch/cylinder.
