changing brake light on 2008 altima
Shouldn't be too hard. I change the brake light on my '01 Frontier (right rear) a few years ago. If you can remove some of the covering in your trunk (if the light is the left or right one) you should see some screws. Loosen those and the entire light fixture should come out. Then you can just replace the bulb, or the entire unit. If you've got an issue w/ the 3rd brake light, above the trunk, I'm not sure where to start there (maybe lower the backseats and try to trace wires or look for screws around where the light is, but I'm not sure). Hope that helps.
It actually is a bit painful. You have to take the whole light off. Here's a youtube video that walks you through it. http://youtu.be/5bTel-b8L1Y
