I have a 2011 Saab 9-3 x that pulls in both direction when driven

Question type: General

I purchased this 2011 Saab 9-3x new and immediately noticed a front end issue. I took it
to my alignment shop and caster and camber were off front and rear. Although non
adjustable we got it to borderline spec in the front and the rear was perfect. The vehicle
since has been Jekyll and Hyde. Sometimes it goes perfect and other times it will pull left
or right. I just mounted new tires and it still has issues. Think it could be a steering rack
issue? Help!

Could be the sway bar has come loose or the steering damper (if equipped) is worn out. Loose bearings should have been spotted during the alignment. So I doubt it's that. The steering damper is like a shock absorber that bolts to the steering linkage. It helps prevent wandering when your going down the road. HTH. -Jim
