I have a 2005 Chrysler Sebring, the oil light comes on when sitting idle at a light and goes back off when accelerating. I replaced the sending unit and light still comes on.

Could be an early warning sign of bearing failure or the engine could have too much oil in it. With too much oil in the engine the oil will foam. When this happens the oil pump is sucking air, not oil. So the pressure drops, especially at idle. Check your oil level. If it's too high, change the oil and refill to the proper level as shown on the oil dipstick. HTH. -Jim
