2005 Chrysler Sebring Turn Signal Issue

The front left turn signal stopped working.  It is just the front turn signal, everything else works great.  When we pulled the headlight assembly...the signal works.  Put the assembly back in and the turn signal doesn't work anymore.  Is this an issue with the wiring harness or maybe just a wire that is worn and maybe has a bad connection.  I appreciate any thoughts.

Yes check for short in plug and or wires to light.
