how often do you change synthecic oil in a car?

I use Mobil1 and change @8,000 miles. But I don't really have to Mobil1 says good for 10,000 but remember your 2011 calls for strictly 0W20

I take my car to a oil change shop. So is 10,000 miles okay to use as a guide?
I change mine at 3500, I like clean oil in my engines.

At 8,000 miles with a Mobil1 filter, my motor oil is as clear amber as the day it was put in. My first change I used a Fram, and at 5,000 miles it was turning dark.

Fram filters are the worst, I find my oil stays cleaner longer using Pureolator pure gold oil filters
