my 2005 chrysler 300 keeps over heating while i stop driving but once i start driving it cools down what could be the problem?
That sounds like a thermostat
okay so what could i do about that?
Change the thermostat and if that doesn't work take it in
okay il try that thank you
Did you ever find the problem? I'm having the same issues I already replaced the water pump, radiator, fans and it still wants to over heat. Mostly after work it starts at the half way point then it starts going up pretty quickly when I'm at red lights then I start driving then it goes down. Today it was so close to passing to the red part and when I parked it I saw it started leaking closer to the passengers side and it had a shhhhh sound to it. My car is the Chrysler 300 srt8 hemi.
