My 2011 Silverado won't go faster than ten mph could it be the throttle body sensor

It could be the Throttle Positioning Sensor, or broke wires at the plugin, wires like to break inside the insulation right there, but I would first have the vehicle scanned for any trouble codes to see what exactly the problem is.
