Losing coolant

Asked by Taraj97 Jun 20, 2018 at 12:23 PM about the 2006 Chrysler 300 C RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I took my car in to the dealership last week to get
an oil change and had the fluids flushed.  The next
day,  after a 10 minute drive,  I had fluids bubbling
and spewing out of my car, while the temp gauge
read normal.  Took it back and they said it was the
radiator cap.  Replaced the cap and it was fine.
Drove it over 250 miles and no problems.  The
following day,  I drove it to work and it happened
again, but not as bad.  Still losing fluid but the temp
gauge shows no signs of overheating.   Now the
dealership can't get me in until next week.  Any
ideas on what might be causing this?  Never had
any overheating or coolant issues before having
the fluids flushed last week.

Possible air lock. Try purging air out of the cooling system. Look up how to purge a radiator on Youtube.

If the radiator leaks you must replace it. Look and see what is leaking. No one here can possibly know.

Leaking antifreeze, radiator replaced and thermostat replaced but still still leaking and running hot! Any suggestions.....

If your car is leaking antifreeze you must find the leak and fix it. Pretty basic.
