Dodge hatch stuck shut how can I manually pop it open?
in front of the radiator is the latch..you will need a mechanics prybar (like a long and chisel point prybar) to find the latch and manually activate the mechanism~...then fix the broken parts~
It's actually the back hatch door that's stuck , it unlocks but won't open
lookin' for an old lock-pick set...they are around but Google will not put that out there ...they are low-tech...no computer...or call a locksmith to use his lockpick set~

I think something may be stuck in there . Trying to find a manual way to open it . The remote unlocks it you hear it click but handle isn't opening it
last resort...take the rear seat cushion out to gain access~ don't really know if this is even possible with your car....but that is one non-destructive way to gain access~
Our 2012 Dodge Journey has the same problem. The keyfob unlocks the door, we can hear it, but it won't open. There is no door handle to manually open some other way. Did anyone find a solution?
guess taking the back seat cushion did not work...it's all I got...good luck~
I have the same issue with my 2011 dodge journey... I really think these are made cheap! anyways, I am thinking there may be an access panel on the inside of the door.. My door is not locking or unlocking, though the other doors are. Also the door handle above the license on the right hand side is not feeling as if there is any pressure on it from the latch working... I feel as if its moving too freely. So, if there is any advice, or videos I would love to see them. Thanks
My 2009 journey has same issue.... I can hear it lock and unlock but it won't open.... anyone find the source solution?
I'd assure the ground cable off the Battery splits in two..one 40 amp cable goes to the engine for the starter...and the other goes to the fender/chassis for the fuel pump and the instrument panel...this one also needs to have a solid connection...if the grounding is marginal...may produce this symptom..."works sometimes" assure that it his SOLID grounding....use as test meter at the problem to look for solid 12 volts on the black wire~
