Have had regular service oil changes, and check everything since purchased in 2009,
engine light comes on, and when I start car it's fine had new ignition switch placed by chevorolet repair at the dealers..but since then, my engine seems to wind down when
turning the igniton key off...does anyone have a clue what this could be...I can't get help from Seaview Chevrolet...

If it's an SS car it could be the turbo winding down.

have the code scanned for the engine light, the "winding down" sound could be a cooling fan

2006 Cobalt all of the sudden I lost power steering, cruise control, power windows, windshield wipers. I have a 2008 Chevy Cobalt and I have put new brakes and rotors on this car 2 months ago and just this past Saturday I put in a new wheel hub bearing on passenger front.
