What method raises and lowers drivers seat on 2011 Elantra.Electric' hydraulic or mechanical?

I would like to know what raises and lowers the drivers seat on my 2011 Elantra Limited. Working the lever on side of seat dosent make anything happen. Is it a hydraulic pump an electric motor or a mechanical setup of some kind? I have been trying to find a shop manual with no success. Where can I get one/

If the driver-side seat is not equipped with the power option, the lever on the side of the seat SHOULD raise and lower the driver's seat. Pull up on the lever to raise the seat, and push down on the lever to lower it. It sounds as if the gear mechanism on your vehicle is not connected. It is an unusual method for controlling seat height. Sounds like a warranty-covered dealer issue.
