I just recently bought a 2011 Ford F-150 with 154000 miles on it and I looked at the carfax it looks like it's been maintained very well, I was just wondering what I should expect for life on it?
If you continue to maintain it well it can easily reach 250,000 or beyond. My '03 Chevy S-10 Pick Up has 285,000 miles on it and runs like a champ. It too was a well maintained vehicle. My job used it for a delivery truck and it always got good frequent maintenance. High mileage vehicles tend to use fluids from time to time so just keep an eye on that. HTH. -Jim
If the vehicle is maintained well, fluids changed, tranny serviced, etc. you should get at least 250 to 300K easy. Lubricants are the blood of your engine. Thirty bucks for an oil change every 3 or 5 k miles will extend the life of the engine.
