2011 f150 will not start sometimes. I will unhook battery and hook back up and truck will start right up. Battery is new. What else could be the cause?
Hello, Sounds like a Fuse to me, were you able to find out?
Disconnecting battery power can foul up the programming of the BCM, unless you use the proper preset saver tool, my advise is it take it to the Ford dealer and have the system checked and reflashed if there is a problem, it could save you from having to purchase a new one later on. See pic for a cheap version.
which fuse would it be causing this?
Do a voltage drop test to starter to make sure your connections and terminals are good. If you have a bad/frayed/loose connection or a bad terminal you'll find it with that test.
If it starts after disconnecting battery, it might be ur security system. Does it crank when this happens
