Your catalytic convertor is probably blocked, making it heat up. Is it glowing when you look under the car after driving? Please don't touch it, you will burn yourself. Has the car been running a little rough and idling bad before this happened? If so, unburnt fuel has entered the cats clogging them up. You will now need a replacement and also replace the plugs and wires.
