Engine and stability control lights

Asked by GuruCVJLQ Feb 13, 2019 at 03:55 PM about the 2011 Lexus ES 350 FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I've had the codes pulled on the
car and it apparently it's not as
easy or as simple as it has
sounded in some of the answers
so I did the in plug the battery
thing to reset the lights after I
clean the mass airflow sensor
which I figured it was and 15
minutes later after driving the
lights came back on the car runs a
little bit rough when it's in gear
with the brake on reverse or drive
so I don't know what else to check
I know it could be maybe a
vacuum leak but other than that I
don't know could it be a wheel
sensor or something like that but
why would the car run rough if it
was a wheel sensor can anybody
help

1 Answer

Well turns out it was the mass air flow and it was running rough because it was starving the left bank for fuel but I also found a coolant leak from a hose that runs over the head under a ton of stuff that has to be removed on the top of the motor if you you do it your self it's About $60 to 100 dollars if you take it to lexus it's overb1200 dollars
