The keybob(s) does not operate the door locks of my 2011 X5 - why?

I have a 2011 bmw x5.  The key bobs no longer operate the door locks.  Why?

Possible your fob needs to be programmed again...


Are the batteries good in the key fobs? They usually last for a couple of years.
