replaced ignition

we own a 1993 cadillac deville and we broke down at the bank so we thaought it was
the starter so i tookm off the starter and took it to autozone to have them check it n it
passed their test so next we asked our tribal fleet mechanic to look at the car n he said
the ignition switch isnt giving power to the starter so we bought a new starter and now it
doesnt work and nothn turns on

So you didn't replace the ignition switch like the mechanic said but replaced the starter that auto zone said was good? I'm not following you. Not sure what you did. Put the old starter back in and replace the ignition switch.
