why will my new ac compressor not take a charge? on 95 ELDORADO+

95 ELDORADO AND REPLACED AC COMPRESSOR. NOW COMPRESSOR WILL NOT HOLD A CHARGE.
JUST HAD REAR BRAKES INSTALLED AND NOW DASH LIT UP"REAR TRACTION DEVICE DEACTIVATED" WHY

Theres probably a leak in the AC system somewhere. Did you replace the AC line o-rings at the compressor? Did you use leak detection dye? As to your brakes, check that the ABS sensor connectors are plugged in. Is it rear disc? Were the caliper pistons fully seated when the brakes were replaced?
