I currently own both a 2003 STS & a SLS. As the years progressed (2004 being the last year made) the standard equipment for the SLS became more like the STS. By then fog lights and a color matched grill were on both models. However the The STS has much more wood trim, perforated seats, a Bose stereo, a standard sunroof. 25 more horse power, but less torque, so not much differance there. Not in 1996, but in 2003 the STS also had better shocks and 17 inch wheels.
