Question type: Maintenance & Repair

What are the radiator coils made of on my 1996
cadillac deville? Do I use liquid aluminum or copper
stop leak?

They were made with both, you will need the scratch the material to see what it is made of...

Neither. Replace the radiator! You'll be better off in the long run. EBay or rockauto has reasonably priced radiators. HTH. -Jim

Thanks yall. It was dark so I tried to research online what the coils were made with, no luck. Any suggestions on finding that info for the future? Also I totally plan to replace the radiator but I've been real tight the last bit and just been using the bandaid method til I can do so. Also my wife wrecked her very nice, new car so it's my only transport. With 5 kids, there's not many hours I can devote to replacing it.
