the fob or button on door is not allowing the automatic trunk to open whats going on

Hi Donna, My SRX has a button on the door and it has a ring around it that you can turn to "off" "3/4" and "full". Yours may be set to "off". Just turn it counter clockwise to the other settings and it should work.
