Question type: Maintenance & Repair

my truck stalled out (0 odd noises) at a red light, took some time to get it started again,
then i got it 4 blocks stalled out again and then refused to start (fuel gage said 1/4 tank) i
thought i may have ran out of fuel and put fuel in, took some time again to get it to start,
another 4 blocks she quit for good and now will only crank over but it almost turns over if i
wait over a hour but still will not run. i towed it to a shop and they scanned it, it showed no
codes and no pending codes pump sounds off but i can hear it, i only owned it for a
month, bought it from a used car dealer and they refuse to help out.
any help would be muchly appreciated

This is a guess on my part but it happened to me on my Dodge. The sending unit went bad and my guage said a quarter tank. I was actually out of gas. The guage had quit working because the sending unit in the tank quit and the guage stayed right where it was when it quit. The low fuel light goes down too when that happens

but i put fuel in roughly 3/4 tank and still won't start
