My 2007 was doing about the same. It went on for a month or so with no codes and I could not figure out what was going on. It finally thru an egr code. After replacing the egr valve it has started fine. I think it was getting stuck open causing my issues. Is your check engine light on?

i found a video that may help you fix your issue http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P-2a_8UZQa8 apparently the dodges have a funny fuel system on the engine. from what i could see the dodge truck has a fuel pump on your intake that goes faulty not sure if this is the case for the 2007 since the video is for a 2003 but its a good place to start
