Very bad shimmy when applying brakes going downhill
Was traveling through the hills of Tenn the other day. When I was going downhill after braking a little bit I started getting a really bad shimmy. It go to the point it felt like it would jerk the steering wheel out of my hand. Anyone have any ideas.
did you previously hit something to jolt it? sounds like alignment issues or need to have tires balanced
i get regular alignments. Thought it may have to do with braking since was going down hill and the brakes were getting warmed up. It only seems to do it when going through the mountains on a downhill run.
