My F150 won't start
My Ford F-150 won't start. It was running fine, then
when I was leaving a store, it wouldn't start. I finally
got it to turn over and as soon as it started, it would
immediately just die. Now, I cannot get it to start
and the gears are locked. My warranty just ran out
and I'm not sure what to do. Please help!
Gears lock is safety feature, seems like you have a fuel pump issue diagnostic will tell you the prob
You stated that it would not crank then finally did, this sounds like you lost all power briefly, if that happened the security system has been activated possibly due to a bad battery cable or post, the problemish is you may have already lost some or all of the body processors settings, you need a preset saver tool before checking the battery cables for corrosion, then you will need to run the security system shut down procedure listed in the owners manual, once you get it started then see just how many accessories no longer function, if everything works properly you got lucky, if not then your stuck with a trip to the dealer for a reflash of the body processor.
