99 Cadillac Deville running hot

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

No cracked heads, no leaks. Presssure is good, new thermostat. i checked
the purge line and it was clogged, cleared that out & it ran great for a few
days even running the A/C. I did check the purge line again for clogs, the
fluid ran out fine. Now it's decided to run hot again. it's not overheating, it's
just hotter than normal, up to 244degrees. however at that temp it's not
boiling over or smells hot. The only DTC i pulled is PCM p0113 AIR TEMP
SENSOR. does this have anything to do with it being hotter than normal?
And am I missing something. I feel like it's something so small that just
needs to be found. Please help.

Try this, purchase a good radiator flush, follow the instructions and do the process at least two times, so you will need to purchase two containers of the fkush. Also purchase a good heavy duty cleaner, spray the front of the of the radiator fins let the cleaner do it job, the take a hose and wash the radiator fins really good.

I have a 1999 cadillac deville and I found out that I have to get a head bolt kit because I believe it is 1996 to 1999 or 2000 that the head bolts were not long enough and wear out. The kit makes it to where the heads can be put together tighter.
