Asked by Apr 24, 2016 at 06:56 PM about the 2000 Cadillac Seville SLS

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My SLS is overheating, checked the belts, water
levels, radiator, and thermostat has been changed
and everything seems up to par, what else can I
do? I'm about to bleed the air from the cooling
system, should I?

Did you check your water pump?

We did a glance over and it seemed fine, I'll definitely check it out closer though.

Ck the oil look at the dip stick see if it's kind of whitish creamy color if is you might have a cracked head casket

I guarantee it's the temp sensor it's about 16 bucks at AutoZone. It goes bad and all the other cooling system parts could be brand new and car will overheat change that coolant temp sensor
