When was it last serviced? Could be low on 134 or it sprung a leak and the system has shut it down.

I haven't serviced the a/c since I bought the car 4 months ago but at first it started with the heater not blowing on passenger side just cold air even when I had it on heat and now the a/c dosent work at all when I turn on

Then that sounds like the HVAC computer is messed up, Locate the main power distribution box under the hood and open it, look for any fuses marked heat or A/C and remove them, wait at least 1 minute, then put them back in and recheck the system to see if it reset itself, if not then you will need to take it to a shop that can work on Cadillac HVAC systems.

Okay thanks I'll try that
