I reset codes on my Cadillac Seville now car won't start

Asked by Rondina Dec 17, 2019 at 10:30 AM about the 2001 Cadillac Seville SLS FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I recently had to replace my ignition in my
2001 Cadillac Seville because I had lost the
key to it.. We finally got another ignition, had
a blank Cadillac key sent to us, had the
Cadillac key cut to match the ignition, and it
was programmed to the transponder that
clears the security system..It has been
running good for about 2 weeks now..no
problem .. I replace my map sensor
yesterday, and decided today to reset the
codes on the dash...I followed the online
directions on how to reset the codes.when I
turned the car from accesories to off and
then tried to turn the car over, it wouldn't
start, wouldn't turn over at all...is acting like
it did the day we programmed the key...what
do I do now ..I tried the procedure 3 times as
far as reprogramming the key..but it isn't
