Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Garage has husband convinced that brakes are fixed and working great???  When u drive it u begin to think car will not stop as brake pedal goes down apaprox 1-2 inches above floor before you feel break pressure.  bought new in 2001 and a beautiful car and is well maintained...has about $120,000 real miles on it and now 14 yrs old.  Last week had rotors and complete brake redo and still is same.  Garage says all is good can't find anything wrong and all looks great on machine.  When I drive it, I am afrain to get any speed on it as not sure it will stop in time if emergency.  There is no pressure in brakes until it gets just above floor.

Have you ever had the brake fluid replaced? After 12-13 years it picks up moisture and brakes down.
