Front Fan Blower not working

Asked by Jul 08, 2012 at 11:37 AM about the 2005 Ford Freestyle SE AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 05 FS front fan is not working.  A groaning sound can be heard briefly when turning on, but no fan.  Rear fan works fine.  Any help?

A groaning probably means the blower motor is on the way out or something is stopping the fan from moving. Time to rip open the dash to verify.
