Do I have to reprogram my ignition switch

Do I have to replace ignition
switch ,key tumbler &
crankshaft position sensor
on my 2002 cadillac seville
sls if I don't really know
which one is causing my
car to die while on
interstate or coming to a
stop at a stop sign. Plus I
have to wiggle my key back
& forth untell I get the dash
lights to finally come on so
I can start it .

If you replace the ignition switch by itself no programming needed, but if you replace the key and tumblers then reprogramming is needed. If you replace the crank sensor you will need to clear the codes and run the drive time protocol for a minimum of twenty minutes with no check engine light coming on. If it comes on the protocol stops.
