Horn stopped working

Asked by Apr 05, 2016 at 10:30 AM about the 2011 Mazda MAZDA2 Touring

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My horn is overly used since I get frustrated with drivers and traffic. For
several months it sounded like a jalopy horn and yesterday it went from one
sound to no sound. When I press it I hear a clicking noise, and then this
morning when I got in the car I tested it. The result was a loud sound
coming out and then nothing came out. Please advise on what might need
to be done.

What needs to be done is perhaps you should take a "chill" pill. A horn is a WARNING DEVICE and not a device for alleviating your frustration. Replacing the horn would likely fix the problem with the vehicle.

Yea know what you mean Bob, we have so many of those here that you get where you just ignore horns, most of them are honking for no real reason anyways. Replace the horn.
