2011 Equinox Rough Idle/Stall After Dead Battery

Asked by Mar 24, 2016 at 05:05 PM about the 2011 Chevrolet Equinox LT1 AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The other day my wife's equinox had a dead
battery after church. We tried to jump it off but it
now has a very rough idle and will stall. I replaced
the battery and I first was getting codes for the
catalytic converter. After resetting I got codes for
MAF sensor, TPS sensor, And Crankshaft sensor. I
had it towed to my house yesterday and cleaned
the throttle body and MAF sensor. Still will not stay
running and sounds horrible. Now the only code
showing is for.the crankshaft sensor. Any ideas?

possible throttle body its all built in together drive it if those codes come back then u will need a new throttle body....

Well I can't keep it running long enough to drive. The Chevy dealership said probably throttle body too. Just thought it was weird that it would all of a sudden quit. Thanks.

I replaced the throttle body and nothing changed. Do you have any other suggestions?

I have codes p0016 and p228d if that helps at all.
