I ran out of gas in my 2002 cadillac dhs now my car wont start

I assume you adding more fuel to the tank, how much? You should add at least 2-3 gallon to help prime the pump. Turn the key and listen for the pump to bizz for 5 seconds, if you don't hear the pump, you might have burned it out. If you did, turn the key on and off to pressurize your fuel system, then try to crank it over.
