The car advertised on Cargurus said the car had
leather. When I showed up to the dealer the car had
cloth. Who pays for the mistake? Did the dealer
provide cargurus with the information or did
cargurus get the info from somewhere else?
Cargurus is a listing site and whatever the dealer adds to the ad, is there responsibility. No one pays for the mistake. Read the fine print on the ads. There is always a disclaimer for errors in the listing and car listings are usually copied from one to another and things get missed.
So you want someone to buy you a leather interior? Don't buy the car if you don't like it.
Imagine the pain and suffering this poor shopper had to endure. Shocking. The product was misrepresented. Incredible.
