2011 Outback engine stall

Asked by Guru99WRG2 Oct 03, 2020 at 09:21 PM about the 2011 Subaru Outback 2.5i

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2011 outback with 95k miles stalled when I stopped at a red light. Engine
shut off and lost all electricity. After 20 minutes, when I turned key, engine
came back. I took to dealer and they cannot find any problem. Have other
people experienced this sudden engine stall before?

Sorry. I didn’t replied for a while. It happened three times.Last time was yesterday. Also I have engine ignition problem. The car sometimes fails to start. I brought to dealer 4-5x and my car stayed in dealer for a cumulative one month. And they cannot diagnose the problem. They assure me the car is fine. But problem came up right after I brought my car back. This is ridiculous. I recommend nobody should buy Subaru. This car is a road hazard.

I bought it from a dealer two and half years ago and have driven 7k miles. Current mileage is 95k. If someone can help me with some advice, it will be much appreciated. Thanks
