any advice how to change out my ground from the alternator to the body in my 2003 Cadillac Deville ?? Need easiest way ,,, and or any advice to do this job , thank you all !!

replaced the upper intake gaskets
while doing this ,, and found a
broken ground ,,,

is it a ground to ground?? if so just add another /fix/make another ???

Just went and bought the cable from a parts store , a 40 " negitive battery cable it's a bolt on one end the alternator and the other bolt is mounted on the body of the car ,,, ??

I bought a new ground wire , I have the bolt on body behind headlight locked into place , I just can't seem to get the one below on the Alt loose ,, any info to better get it ,, which way loosens , tightens ??? I sprayed with bolt loosener and also have two extensions and a pivot head with 5/8 socket , I get around the bolt just can't seem to get Loose Any advice would be helpful been out of service for a week need my car , my job depends on it at this point in the game
