How do I change my Transmission fluid myself?

I want to perform and transmission fluid change along with changing the filter. This is very new to me as I've never done one. I need some serious guidance in getting this done safely for me and my Malibu. Any suggestions???

I have a 98 chevy malibu. I want to add transmission fluid. I read the manual and it said you have to take it to dealer. Have no idea how much that will cost, but I will be finding out shortly. This is a disgrace and things you don't know until after the car is purchased. A disgrace.... The dealers should do it free because of the inferior design of this car.

Take it to the dealer and have them perform the service for free!!!
