Just purchased a 2006 BMW 750Li, once in a while the car won't crank or start. We took it to the BMW dealer and they said we need to replace the crankshaft sensor and cam sensor an it cost $1600 to get it all done. A day later we took the car home and still has problems. When we hit the start button a message sometimes pops up saying "Transmission Fault". Anyone know or have any experience about it?

First check the condition of the battery and alternator, low voltage will sometimes cause this issue, if they check out, you might need a new integrated supply module, check out this link for more information.....http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php? t=457581
