Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 98 750 il with security pane, my front door is damaged. I found a 98 740i at salvage yard with good doors but have single pane. I want to put 740 door on my 750 and put my double pane in the 740i door. is that possile?

As I remember, the BMW 7 Series Protection allocated a wider amount of space for the window due to thickness of the glass; the area you may have the issue with is the gap in the pillars.....my guesstimate would be "no - you can't, without alot of rattling"
