Can you feel or hear the fuel pump running? If not it could be the fuse. Make sure the fuel filter was installed the correct direction. There may be a flow direction on the filter.

I suspect that you replaced the fuel pump because it wouldn't start /// it appears the fuel pump wasn't the problem .. so now you have a new fuel pump. When you "Shot-Gun" a problem ,, it's possible to rebuild the complete car ... one piece at a time. What made you think it was the fuel pump?

yes its running , "fuel pump failure" notification came on and went into limp mode wile driving. :" did start after this lamp would come on." this is why I replaced the pump and filter.

did check fuse, its good, bmw has all plug in connectors, snaped all, filter has not filled with fuel, no pressure in the line to filter
