Howling and grinding? Might be rust buildup on the rotor and or parking brake shoes. I notice it on my BMW first thing in the morning or when it's wet and or cold outside. It goes away as you brake more and remove the rust.

the sound isnt howling and grinding its more of a low clicking type sound
