engine coolant overheating in less than a mile and half.
Hie guys, my car has not been driving for close
to 8 months. But it's back on the road now. I
have driven it for 60km without any problems.
But now the temperature shoots to red within a
mile. I have checked oil and it's fine. No signs
of mixing problem. When engine idles the water
coolant in the radiator starts to rise and spill
over. How can I get my temp. Right!?
I would check thermostat first. Could also be the water pump failing.
Do a coolant system over haul that engine is know to have cooling system problems. The water pump impeller has most likely fell off.
I just had error message of my engine is overheated, found out that my water pump is bad and if you drive you can crack the engine, costly part hope you have a warranty.
